Pacific Expositions
has carefully considered the
many exciting and challenging opportunities available
to us for 2008.
Pacific Expositions will dedicate its efforts during
this year towards four independent projects.
The First Annual Fabulous Food Festival will feature
a festive feast of flavors on Saturday and Sunday,
November 8th and 9th, 2008.
The Fabulous Food Festival is the first ever consumer food show for the San Francisco Bay Area. This
event will showcase exhibitors and sponsors offering
everything from cheeses to chocolates for sales and
sampling.
Specialty and gourmet foods will star and everything
foodish will be featured, including cookware and
cooking publications. Achievement Recognition
Awards will be presented.
The attending public will enjoy a unique retail marketplace with delicious free samples offered by the over
250 sponsors/exhibitors. Product sales for sponsors
and exhibitors will be brisk. Visibility for sponsors will
be great. Exceptional wineries, micro breweries and
many producers of non alcoholic beverages will present their works for the public's tasting. Live musical
entertainment will add to the excitement.
The venue for this event is the well established
Concourse Exhibition Center located just five minutes
from the downtown San Francisco.
The Mill Valley Fall Arts Festival, a
community event that reflects the spirit
of Mill Valley. Held in a beautiful redwood tree canopied site in downtown Mill
Valley, it is one of the finest presentations in Northern California of exceptional
Arts & Crafts. Scores of Festival volunteers staff the gates and the Poster, T-Shirt and information booths during this
annual two-day event. Much needed support comes from all areas of our community,
from inkind services and dollar donations to the food and
beverages provided by numerous Mill Valley nonprofit
service organizations. Bay Area performers provide
free entertainment on the main stage. Free children's
entertainment and crafts activities are also provided in
the redwood grove by local performers and service
organizations. The Festival Committee works hard to
continue our tradition of:
- Encouraging and fostering public education in the
awareness and appreciation of fine arts and crafts.
- Providing an open and continuing dialogue between
the established artist and the public.
- Creating a foundation upon which local service
organizations are able to raise a large portion of their
operating budgets.
- Providing an important showcase for new and
emerging artists.
- Presenting a high-quality family event that is accessible to interested people of all ages for a small
admission fee.
Lighthouse, a newly created division of Pacific
Expositions, will dedicate its extensive background
and resources towards two primary goals for 2008.
Lighthouse will provide strategic consultation services for select non profit organizations and community
groups that are dedicated to the creation, development and management of exceptional special events.
The services of our new Lighthouse Division will facilitate and empower organizations to meet fundraising
expectations while promoting their identity, goals and
mission.
Lighthouse will focus as well on the needs of aging
baby boomers and seniors to participate in stimulating
and entertaining activities. Lighthouse will create
options specifically designed for this increasing age
demographic. Lighthouse will pursue this goal
through the development of specific compon special events developed for this age group.
